Gyotaku, Japanese Fish Painting Summer Fun for Kids

Saturday, July 22 11:00am

Gyotaku is a form of "nature printing" that began in Japan in the 1800s. Japanese fisherman would record the fish they caught by covering the fish with ink and then placing a piece of paper on top of it. When the paper is pulled away, a fish print is revealed!

Join us for a kid's workshop on gyotaku as we use rubber fish replicas to make our own fish prints!

$10 per child, ages 5 - 10

Give us a call to reserve your child's seat at 352-385-0034
